Memorise: Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: 1 Timothy 1:19 KJV

Read: 1 Timothy 1:18-20  18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; 19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: 20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Light will forever rule over darkness and obviously darkness cannot comprehend it potency and it lustrous effects. The faith we have in God supersedes any other claim in the world because in Him is light and there’s no darkness at all. Anyone who claims he love God but still have one thing or the order to do with the kingdom of darkness is yet to see the light or such vision is blurred. You can’t experience genuine salvation and not be transformed and you can’t be transformed and not become a change agent for Jesus. Your meeting with Jesus will bring you to the limelight and translate you to become a true example of the believers.

You are saved to uphold the words of Christ and to become a partaker of the grace of God towards to salvation and redemption of others. This automatically becomes one of your core responsibilities as a citizen of heaven. You life must become a living proof that you have seen the light. Nations should begin to flow into the side of God through the light that shines through your character, words and styles. You can no longer start a conversation that will rubish God and his ministers or begin a foolish comedy about the Holy Spirit and the works of God’s Kingdom. You are carrying the light of God which makes you a direct Ambassador of His grace. Think through this role today and begin to represent God and our Lord Jesus wherever you find yourself.

Pray with me : Father, I receive grace to uphold your words on the earth and to be a true source of light to the weak and unsaved souls in Jesus’ mighty name.
