Daily Devotional: THESE WILL SOON PASS AWAY
Memorise: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4 KJV
Read: Revelation 21:1-4
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Every unpleasant situation surrounding your life and family will soon pass away because the Lord your God is in charge of your life and will never allow you to live perpetually in pains and heartaches. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory 2 Corinthians 4:17. Your season of joy and celebration will soon show forth and you will never be afflicted again. Cheer up and keep moving forward by faith.
God truly promised to give you the best in life. Your access to Jesus qualifies you for a new life and a lively hope. You must never go downcast because of your current position or situation. Your portion in Christ far outweighs the current challenges you are facing. Therefore, let every issue of your life bring you closer to God who is your Maker and also the only solution to your problems. Relate your heart desires to Him and have faith in His word. He’s not a man that will lie therefore, wait patiently on Him and your tears shall be wiped away.
Pray with me: Father, please arise to wipe away my tears. Give me a new song to sing and let me experience a season of refreshing from your throne.
