Memorise: I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:10 KJV

Read: Jeremiah 17:9-12 9 The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10 I the LORD search the heart, [I] try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, [and] according to the fruit of his doings. 11 [As] the partridge sitteth [on eggs], and hatcheth [them] not; [so] he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool. 12 A glorious high throne from the beginning [is] the place of our sanctuary.

There’s no hiding place from the Lord seeing He’s the hiding place for those who trust in Him. Your actions and attitudes are plain before Him and at the right time, He will reward you accordingly. Therefore, be careful with your life and act faithfully before the Him. He’s watching your steps and also considering your ways.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Revelation 22:12 KJV

The Lord will visit you with the right reward of your doings. He’s not going to come too early or late. He will appear at the set time for your visitation. What will your reward look like? What story will you be telling at the time of your examination? Have you considered your ways and the work in your hands? How pleasing are your thoughts and journey to the Lord? Are you correctly aligned with the principles of God’s kingdom or you have chosen to operate according to the dictates of your heart? The end of all things will matter a lot. Don’t use your current state to disfigure your future glory. Act as commanded by the Lord so you can be profitably rewarded with life and peace. I pray you will not live a wasted life in Jesus’ mighty name.

Pray with me : Father, teach me to act promptly on your words and never to live outside the circumference of your grace. Help me to work towards eternal profit in your kingdom.
